The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship

The mission of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship is to train and develop leaders who will make high tech ventures successful. The center offers educational programs to inspire, train, and coach new generations of entrepreneurs from all parts of MIT.

The eForum

The eForum—formerly known as the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, is an an independent non-profit organization and a member of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. The mission is to help early-stage technology entrepreneurs succeed faster by informing, connecting and coaching them through relevant, practical workshops, mentoring programs, competitions and networking events.

MIT Biotech Group

Founded in 2015, the MIT Biotech Group is an organization dedicated to serving as the student hub for outward-facing life sciences activities at MIT. The MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition

Each year, MIT holds a $100K competition in which students develop business plans to establish new companies. HST students who have entered the competition, some of whom have been members of winning teams, have found it to be an excellent way to "learn while doing." A number of HST student-led companies have been founded as a result of this competition.

MIT's Sandbox Innovation Fund Program

Sandbox provides seed funding, mentorship, and tailored entrepreneurship education to empower student innovators.

IDEAS Social Innovation Challenge

The IDEAS Social Innovation Challenge is MIT’s 20+ year-old annual social entrepreneurship program housed in the PKG Public Service Center. Since its founding in 2001, IDEAS has enabled MIT student-led teams to apply their education and expertise in collaboration with community partners to address social and environmental challenges around the world. Through this program, you can recruit a team from anywhere in the world and develop a creative solution in partnership with impacted stakeholders. Your team can also benefit from a supportive body of reviewers, mentors, and funding within the range of $1,000 – $20,000.

The MIT Entrepreneurs Club

The MIT Entrepreneurs Club, focuses on developing all aspects of science and technology business creation through weekly meetings, for-credit seminars, panels, and workshops.

MIT TechLink

TechLink’s mission is to assist the MIT graduate community connect, collaborate, and innovate. They host and create events that link students across all disciplines with each other, with alumni, and with professional networks.

MIT Venture Mentoring Service

The MIT Venture Mentoring Service matches prospective MIT entrepreneurs (including students) with volunteer mentors.

Harvard Innovation Lab

The Harvard Innovation Lab (i-lab) serves as a resource for students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. The programming offered by the i-lab is designed to help students grow their ventures at any stage of development and covers a wide range of disciplines.

MIT Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation

The Deshpande Center helps some of MIT's most talented faculty and students commercialize breakthrough technologies and inventions by transforming promising ideas at MIT into innovative products and cutting-edge spinout companies. The center makes modest but pivotal investments in research and provides valuable industry expertise.
